La productora británica realizó, con la ayuda de 117 críticos de cine, un ranking con las 100 mejores películas del siglo XXI. Mira cuáles son en esta nota.
El multimedio británico BBC suele hacer diversos tipos de rankings y listas en las cuales engloban lo mejor de lo mejor según los especialistas que están involucrados.
En está ocasión, con la asistencia de 117 críticos especializados en cine de todo el planeta, realizaron una lista con las 100 mejores películas del siglo XXI.
El formato de selección fue de la siguiente manera: A cada uno de los 117 especialistas que formaron este ranking, se les dio la oportunidad de entregar una lista con 10 películas. En total salieron seleccionadas 599 títulos distintos. El primer puesto fue un empate técnico entre Mulholland Drive, de David Lynch y Deseando Amar, creación de Wong Kar-wai, reconocido director asiático.

“Queríamos averiguar cuales son las mejores películas de los últimos tiempos, esas que la mayoría de la gente siente más profundamente”, afirmó Matthew Anderson, editor de BBC Cultura, que además agregó: “Esperamos que esta lista fomente la discusión y el debate, no sólo entre los críticos y aficionados al cine, si no entre todos los que disfrutan de las películas y tienen su propia opinión sobre lo que es una buena película”
